A General Knowledge on Blood
The General knowledge on Blood
The Factor that Defines your blood is +or-
So, friends, as we all know that we all have our separate blood group so, have you have ever thought that what defines our blood group to be positive or negative it is an antigen present on the surface of our Red Blood Cells(RBC) There are four types of blood the blood group are as follows:
1. Blood group A
2. Blood group B
3. Blood group AB
4 Blood group O
So, when Antigen A is present on the surface of the blood the blood group becomes A+ & when not present it becomes A-, same with other blood groups. But in blood group AB the antigen A as well as antigen B is present it becomes AB+ and if not present then AB-. In blood group O the antigen is not antigen O it is called Rh Antigen when it is present in the surface of the O blood group the blood group becomes positive and if not then negative.
The Blood group AB is also called Universal Acceptor or Receiver & blood group O is called the universal donor because it does not have any specific antigen therefore it can donate to any blood group as well as the blood group AB can accept blood from any blood group because it has the antigen A as well as antigen B. Now the question arises that "What will happen if we give blood to group A of blood group B", so if we do this then the receivers blood group would start making antibodies against the received blood cells which makes clot in the blood vessels or blood passes.
